DECEMBER SCHEDULE:

QUOTES TO NOTE:

I think we’re going to know a lot more not only about our team, but what we’re going to be up against the rest of the year in the playoff race.
But I think even more importantly, we need to find our game on the road and see who we are on the road playing in hostile environments against this kind of quality.
- Kevin Shattenkirk

Some games might be a little more exciting to play, but the other games tell you a lot about your team.
Is this a good test for us? No question. But the whole season is a test. That’s the way I approach it.
- Henrik Lundqvist

I thought Mac was a force out there.
Thought he skated well, won a lot of his one-on-one battles and that’s what we need from our captain.
- Alain Vigneault

I`ll to watch this game tomorrow morning - it`s a bit late for me, and it`s hard to predict result in this game for sure. We need certainly play top of our game to get points - I hope for another Tampa performance we had earlier this year!
Let`s go!! ))

I'd like to see a nice top to bottom effort tonight.

Metro is so tight and after our bad start we really need to win these head to head matchups to start making some serious headway.

I don't know where to put this but I need an answer. Is there any fix to the tweet problem. Every time it loads a tweet it scrolls down endlessly and I can't see anything past the tweet on the page. Obviously mods feel free to move this to the correct location or I'll just delete this post later.

Didn't know this is going to be NBCSN. Pitt and their 7:30 starts, ugh. Why can't MSG Go do Chromecast?

hopefully we can contain Crosby shooting from behind the net. those are impossible to stop apparently.

Hahaha. Is the Euro hockey trick of lacrossing the puck into the net legal in the NHL? If so, I'm surprised he hasn't tried it on Hank.

I'm pretty sure Pitt starts at 7 like most other teams. It's only 7:30 cos it's NBCSN. Tampa, Florida and the southern California teams are the usual 7:30/10:30 starts.

You are correct, I believe it's city/traffic dependant. Cities where traffic is more of an issue on fans arriving on time will have the 730 start, cities with better public transport and less traffic will be 7. You mentioned Fla and SOCAL (10pm vs 1030pm), I think MTL is another example of a team that has 730 starts. NHL somewhat prefers 7 pm (and 10pm) starts due to earlier end times and kids watching but not at the expense of butts in seats and vendors making $.

Important game, Penguins are dangerous right now. Disappointing season to date for them but the moment Murray was injured and people predict their demise I get the sense they go on a huge hot streak and grab first place in the east. Any so called adversity and they elevate themselves, as has been the case for the past 2+ years.

Sorry guys, Crosby won't bank one in off Hank tonight, however he will roof a wicked short side backhand from in tight and we will debate: softie or no softie? Distance=high danger; Backhander='eezy peezy' save I make daily in NHL 18. HF Conclusion? Trade Hank either way.
