Scottie is likely done, even if he somehow some way finishes the day at -9 or 10 and makes a huge push from here someone or maybe at least 2-3 guys will be -13 or -14...not sure he can get a double choke unless a rando like Burmester or kid like Theegala is up there. Collin/Bryson probably are not gonna give back a lead of 3-4 on Sunday

Schauffele double bogey after a birdie on the par-3 14th. He simply cannot be making those mistakes at the top like he does

This is why the guys who trail from behind usually have momentum because guys like Xander can't close when the game turns into a pressure cooker on the final 36 holes

I hate that decision by Morikawa there. You've got two very makeable birdie/eagle holes upcoming, you have a shot to get out of here at 17 or certainly 16 under. If you bogey this now that hurts

Bryson hit it like shit today and eagles 18 to get right in it. Really hoping he's a factor down the stretch!

He will be here. I knew he'd inevitably not hold up at Augusta. Thats a tourney I am decently confident in saying he never wins probably. Just not his course but he should have a good shot here tomorrow

I'm unmoved by the bunch at -12, -11, and -10. Lowry is faking it around with a hot putter right now, and I don't really trust Theegala to win in his first time contending at a major. So for me, that leaves the obvious four of Morikawa, Xander, Bryson, Viktor.

Xander's much too good a player not to win a major at some point. I'll say he finally gets it done.

Has to be the time Xander finally wins right.... right?!

As much as the course has been meh, the tight leaderboard has made this tournament a decent watch.. maybe that's all crazy chips we've seen go in talking..

Xander is going to fall into one of these at some point. I am going to pick against him every time, but I recognize it will happen for him eventually.

I’m going for Vik.

If Xander wins it I guess it leaves Cantlay/Hovland/Fleetwood as best remaining guys to never win one

Xander probably is overachieving a bit thus far given he's made 1 wild save and one unrealistic birdie. Bryson seems as if he maybe is coming down a bit now but I still think its Xander/Collin/Bryson/Viktor. I am not sure anyone else is realistically likely as they are up and down

Xander hit two bad shots on 2 and came out with a comfy par. One bad drive on 8 and it's a 12 foot birdie. Doesn't feel like the course is asking him any tough questions right now.

He might have lost any shot at a birdie now on 10. Would have been huge to get it, he maybe still can but his 3rd shot will need to be legendary like

Is the major record still -21? That might be coming down.

10-13-18 were real important for Xander. I think he needs to birdie 13 and 18 now or he is not winning unless Bryson/Viktor just fade
