Even if Montreal picks before us, as deep as they are on youth defenseman, they also take a forward. (Catton?) We are likely going to get anyone of these dmen.

I think Johnson is a winger. Fantili and Lindstrom would be a killer one two punch down the middle. But I'm not sure how stacked they are on d prospects. I haven't looked into that with any depth. I have heard a few draft prospect podcasts that have suggested Columbus likely drafting a center.

Whoever drafts this kid is going to get a lot of goals, but I think that's where it ends, even though he thinks he's a 200 foot player. He's a sniper, but his dropping is due to him playing disinterested and just waiting for a pass. He's a faller, and fallers scare me. I love all of the defenseman in this draft but I want Demidov, Eiserman, or Celebrini. Don't really care which of the D we would get, only really the russians have the elite talent that I see in the 3 forwards.

There was a group of 9. Guenther went at 9. I had him higher. I think Redline had him at 1OV. From that perspective he fell. Reality is wingers go lower than C’s and D typically.
McKenzie had him at #6, Pronman at #2. The rest had him between 5-9. Similar to this year, that draft was all over the place after Owen Power. I would say he dropped because he was a winger. He was surrounded by centers and defensemen in the top 10.
