I just don’t know the dates of when the team has to be finalized. Plus, I haven’t seen anything on Hage joining either which seemed obvious as well.

I'm not sure either, but you'd have to think they kept a spot open for a top player eliminated from CHL playoffs. Hage I wasn't sure if he was still playing, but USHL players less of a sure thing.

In my morning SIM spin, Calgary stayed in 9th 8 out of 10 spins
1 spin Philly won so we dropped to 10th
Even crazier, StL pulled off a miracle moving from 16th to 6th, again dropping us to 10th

Just watching Canada play U18s, Button just said that Kelowna's coaching staff have said that Tij could play C next year.

I'm still hoping for Luchenko/Beaudoin/Elick with a 2nd. All 3 have looked good for Canada in these 1st 2 games. Been impressed with Mews too.

The National Hockey League announced today the 2024 NHL Draft Lottery will be held on Tuesday, May 7, at NHL Network’s Secaucus, N.J., studio. The event will be broadcast on ESPN, Sportsnet and TVA Sports (time to be announced next week).

The 2024 NHL Draft Lottery will determine the order of selection for the first 16 picks in the first round of the 2024 NHL Draft. Participants are all teams that did not qualify for the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs (or the teams that have acquired the first-round drafting positions of those non-playoff teams).

REMINDER: The NHL announced changes to the Draft Lottery format on March 23, 2021. Among the changes in effect since 2022 is a limit on the total number of selections (10) a team participating in the Draft Lottery can “move up” in the event it wins one of the Lottery Draws. Thus, only the top 11 seeds will be eligible to receive the first overall selection in the 2024 NHL Draft.

You're already pegging Tij as a franchise legend??
Brodeur announced his son's draft with the Devils in 2013 I believe, not round 1 though.

Aside from that, Bobby Hull drafted Bobby Hull Jr as black hawks ambassador in 81 but was escorted off stage and they made their real pick Tony Tanti.
