Beck didn't score yet at ES. I hope he's injured because his production is far from impressive.

If Beck's line is not getting a lot of ice time that is probably why they aren't winning.
No he's not right.
He only took 9 draws all night low 4th line minutes and he got smoked by Cloutier in the third had like one shift after that.
Saginaw win 3-1 with the empty netter but damn they are beat up a bit.

I'm guessing Beck is nursing some kind of injury. He's barely played & when he does, he doesn't look good.

Haight is having a strong game for Saginaw.
Yup Haight and Sapavoliv had great games Joey Willis could have had a hat trick in the first alone.
Saginaw was by far the better team tonight but let the Soo hang around.

By all accounts from experts, Beck projects as a bottom of lineup player - who cares what he produces in Junior? Unless you are a top 10-15 player in your draft class, most likely you will need to find a different chair in the pros.

On a very good NHL team - I would be happy Beck becoming our 4th line center with face off and PK duties.

I’m sure everybody on this board never has a bad month at work.

The guy had a relatively successful season and a great first round of the playoffs.

That 7 game stretch should not overwrite everything he did previously

This should be for all the beans...
London are going to be well rested but maybe rusty.
Saginaw are beat up after a very tough physical dirty series.

He projects as a 3rd liner (with hopefully 2nd line ability). But no one gets to the NHlL if they don't produce in junior. Defensemen that don't produce upwards of 70 pts in junior don't even make it as defensive defensemen in the NHL (see Vlasic). McCarron, for example, produced in the OHL. Very few players that don't produce in junior and NCAA make it to the NHL.

Dionicio scores for Saginaw. 4 on 4. A really good shot. Saginaw is out playing London in this first period, but Simpson has been excellent.

Haight is playing really well. Better than Beck.

1-0 Saginaw late 1st.
