I like Stephenson a lot. Duclair is a bit like AA and Blackwell is meh too. I'd rather explore some different options than Blackwell. The rest I could live with. Part of me wonders if they don't just re-sign Megna and then if EDM beats him out they just waive him. I don't know if they want to have so many young LD.

I did this in NHL24. It felt unrealistic. But it was nice to have bedard pas la the cup to Toews and Kane.

I mean they’re familiar with him. He’s a local. Just thought it was easy enough. Easy enough to sign and not play as a 7th D and let the kids go. Easy enough to waive if the kids are good. Not that I think he’s good or anything, but if you’re banking on picking someone up on waivers you might get someone you aren’t comfortable with. Or be forced to play a kid who isn’t going well, too long.

Not sure if he’ll be there to start the season but I’d love to eventually see Moore at some point. Lots of speed and skill throughout all 4 lines if things go as planned. Let’s get it done!

I think you give Isaak Phillips to be on the team that he can go out and take, then waive him if necessary, rather than bring back a veteran with plans to waive Phillips from the jump.

Find a top 6 caliber center to play with Reichel. (Stephenson, Monahan). Would love to bin Athanasiou and upgrade that to Sprong/Toffoli but I don’t think that’s happening

Round it out with a capable bottom pairing right shot defenseman and a capable backup

Agree those mentioned should be gone. The team needs also size up front.

soda is under contract so maybe bring in another VET on a 1 year deal and start him in Rockford or a waiver pcikup and SODA starts out slow send him down. I would also consider bringing back Zaitsev on a 1 year deal. hard to find RD plus if would allow us to move Murp (if for the love of god he can stay healthy) at 50% closer to the trade deadline. him at 2.2 for 2 years should bring back a high pick he can make it to FEB healthy.

They are all upgrades but I would love Domi back. Also Tyler Toffoli would be a nice pickup.
