Will try to post my thoughts soon. I apologize for my lack of activity. It has been a pretty busy past few weeks.

The Voyageurs will do everything in our power to limit the effectiveness of Mario Lemieux. Easier said than done, I know. But we have an elite shutdown checking line that can shadow Mario and make life miserable for him. Gainey, Keon, Graham. He won’t have a whole lot of room out there. At least that’s the idea. Add in Larry Robinson and Serge Savard on D, with Guy Lapointe and Vlad Konstantinov (who will attempt to keep him honest with his physical play) on the second pairing and that’s a very strong defensive core to hopefully limit Mario’s offense.

Hopefully I’ll be able to offer more shortly. Just checking in quick as I’ve had a very busy few weeks, as have a lot of GM’s it appears. But I feel bad about the lack of discussion so I’ll try to come back with our full gameplan.

Maybe @Transplanted Caper can stop in with some thoughts as well shortly.
