It’s really not at all. Leonard is fantastic and Wood has some of the highest potential in this class if he can figure out his skating.

Would prefer Tom Willander at 29 for the Habs. We have a lot of depth in our LD prospect pool and we have close to nothing on the RD and I prefer Willander who could be a great fit with Lane Huston

Considering all of those guys are considered first rounders or at worst early 2nd, your mock might be a little optimistic.

Just a minor correction...St Louis gets the LATER of the NYR and Dallas picks so in your scenario the Blues would have the 30th pick and the NYR would be picking 23rd.

Right yes. Previous versions I had done had NYR behind Dallas and I forgot to correct it. Thanks.

I think if Nadeau is still on the board Montreal takes him and goes for a RD with their 37th pick. Too much offensive potential to pass up on. If they really want both maybe they work a deal with a team like Toronto lacking picks for 28th overall for 37th and their 3rd rounder and a 4th rounder. Montreal already has good depth in the pool, they need to look for talent over quantity.

At #9 I like Dvorsky..

At #17 I'm not sure. Would love to see us pckg 17 and a 2nd to move up and grab Yager as these two coupled with Kasper and Larkin our center situation would be in good hands.

The focus would then turn to wingers and RH dmen this year and next(give or take)
