Good on the NHL for honoring Poile. He did a ridiculously great job in building the hockey market in Nashville. Plenty of people didn't think the Preds would last long. They didn't have the starting advantage recent expansion teams had. Poile and Trotz were quite the combo in fielding quality teams in a challenging market.
