In High Altitoad
there are a host of guys who will be available at 23 who would be good picks.

Brindley is my guy, but he is the only one. I’ve come around on Musty, he may be a really, really good player.

Ritchie, if he was playing through an injury all year, may be an all time steal.

Riley Hiedt plays like Marchand. He's another one i like. My top 3 Brindley, Musty, Heidt

Either trade up for Oliver Moore or Dmitri Simashev. If they stick with 23, then just go for Gracyn Sawchyn or Daniil But.

Outside the first round, Tanner Molendyk is a guy I would love to add to the system.

Cal Ritchie is a typical Rangers target though. This org LOOOOVES guys that were drafted high in the OHL Priority selection.

Othmann, Vierling, Cuylle, McConnell-Barker.

From the athletic today, I hope this is not who they go for at 23.

Brindley size is meh. Was he playing with Fantilli? Even then production is meh. Listed at 157... that's Kravtsov frail. Obviously not as bad being much shorter

tbh I want a higher risk- uber talent pick. I'm tired of the safe picks.

Here
Yay! A GDT

I think after the top 4 or 5, things are going to get really interesting.

I think with such a deep draft the clubs big boards are all over the place.

We could definitely see some "reaches" and "fallers" although in reality that second/third tier of players is pretty large and you could see the same player be 15-20 spots away from where another team evaluates them.

A guy Like Ritchie for example I've seen as high as 6 and as low as the end of the first round. (although I think 6 is very high for him)

When it gets to the Rangers i just hope they choose the right guy or make the right deal if a team is interested. Time well tell who that guy is, I just really dont want another Kravstov, Andersson or McIlrath retread. If you are high on a guy that you know could be off the board make the trade and pick up more picks in the 2nd round.

if the guy that 'want' is not there. I have no problem trading back.

#27/31 and #37 from COL would be amazing... but Sakic is shrewd... he's still loading up on draft talent while fielding a contender

Agree, have'nt followed this draft very closely, but from what I can gather it got really good depth well into the second round.
