Teams like Michigan and Minnesota are fun to watch with all that skill, but teams like Quinnipiac get the job done with solid systems and dedicated players.

Keep in mind who those commentators were. The kid between the benches for ESPN was FAR more insightful & on point than Bucci or Melrose can pretend to be.

Just for fun, let's take a look at the championship game player stats for the Gophers' superstars ... (scrolling, scrolling, scrolling) ... ah, there, Logan Cooley ... +/- = -1, 0 SOGs, 2 PIM ... Brock Faber ... one assist , +/- = 0, 0 SOGs ... (scrolling, scrolling, scrolling) ... yep, that's all, folks ...

MIN was dominating in the 1st period, QUI owned the 3rd.

Even down 2, they stayed with the game plan.

QUI beat 2 very good teams with lots of NHL picks by hard work and structure.

Onec again I was treated to some very fine hockey these past few weeks.

No I wasn't. It's a bit of a bucket list thing that will probably never happen. I did watch all the games on ESPN. They do a good job.

Keep in mind who those commentators were. The kid between the benches for ESPN was FAR more insightful & on point than Bucci or Melrose can pretend to be.

Right on there. Colby Cohen has played a lot of hockey in his time. I like what he says. The guys in the booth are there to hype the game somewhat.

I still like the coverage even if it includes Mullet Melrose.

People tend to do that when their team loses. I'm in a good position of not having a horse in the race, so I can watch the game and enjoy it without having to worry about "my team" losing.
