I know Duchene isn't what he once was. He still put up .78 points per game, which is better than everyone on Detroit not named Larkin. Is he worth an offer? I haven't really watched him play much so don't know what he brings to the table these days.

I’m not seeing too much there in terms of upgrades for us. Bear is seriously injured and will miss into next season. Sprong really doesn’t seem like a Lalonde type.
Maybe Stevie reunites with Foote ? I could see that.

I've heard from others that Foote is downright terrible. Like a pylon clone of hal gil. I don't know if true or not, just from the comments I've seen.

The "I want to play with my buddy!" cost of admission is no more than his buddy is making. And for no longer than his buddy is here. If he signs a 3x$4.75M to match a 2x$4.75M extension for Perron? Whatever. It needlessly clogs up the middle of the lineup but feels are more important I guess....

They do have to reach the cap limit on the cheap side.

But anything over 2 years....nope.
And anything over 4 million per....nope.
