in an ideal world, i'd scratch Kempe, Anderson, Arvidsson, Turcotte (don't know if he cleared to play or not)

i'd plug in Kaliyev, (Thomas or Fagemo), Clarke and run a 11F/7D

but that's all silly, at the very least though, i'd scratch Arvidsson and for sure Turcotte wouldn't play tonight

we all know Edmonton will need/want/try to injure one of our players, so it's too much of a risk to plug in Arvidsson tonight

doesn't matter who wins this game, game 83 is what will matter.

Kinda hope Edmonton catches Vancouver as I think LA matches up better against them, and I love to bathe in Canuck fan tears. Brings me back 12 years.

Thank God we're playing the Oilers. King's need a team that can end this hot streak! I've had nothing to complain about for a week.

Read that E Kane hasn't scored a goal in a month. That's either good or bad depending on the Hockey Gods.

He was also a healthy scratch this past week.

While I want to win the game, I just want to get out of this one without injury mainly. The Oilers have a knack for taking someone out at the end of the year.
Meanwhile they see Mikey as the big bad villain on our roster when they are constantly injuring our team

Frustrating watching our guys get run/turned into bitches when there's no retaliation.
Wonderwhy that is?
I continue to hope for the best.

I hope Anderson earns that reputation of his tonight.

It's not a time to over react.

Running around will get you beat by the Oinklers.

Play smart , discipline, watch your back etc., hockey, just as if its playoffs.

Not a time for an injury or suspension

So which King is going to get injured with no response or pushback tonight?

Bailey!

Baconate the OINKLERS!!!

Turcotte didn't even make the trip to Canada.

Ehh I’m not going to bother deleting that ^. Need a Kempe masterclass tonight to give me false hope for this potential first round matchup.

1-3-1 is overrated. Good teams abuse this system.
Speedy forwards who get in aggressively on the forecheck after a dump really force the 1 d back into a tough spot, and the 2nd D back usually has to make a chip play under significant duress. Add in some McDavid magic making moves through the middle of it, and it’s just not a great match for the Kings.

It is far from the magic bullet that guys paint it to be, that’s for sure.
