The Olympics have survived 36 years since allowing professionals.

I am not against the athletes being properly compensated, that was long overdue. It's the lack of rules that make it depressing to watch - you can't really blame these kids but it's irresponsible to have almost no rules. I don't think the Olympics is a fair comparison.
