I think there is very little reason to worry, Philly will not make it and has been faltering, the only way the Wings don't make it is if if the Caps and Isles both make it, which is very unlikely.

I've thought the Caps would be easier to catch given their schedule and 1 remaining head to head, but Philly lost to Montreal and is now down 4-1 in the 3rd to Chicago.

On the other hand, Chicago just blew out Philly.

For how horrible the Wings have been, if they had won the shootout today I believe they'd be just ahead of them in winning percentage for the final playoff spot.

I guess the Caps are twice as bad as Detroit since they blew a 4 minute PP in OT while Detroit only had a 2 minute PP in OT.
