The most annoying part of the offense is the lack of plate discipline. Too many first pitch swings. Too many swings and misses. Nobody is working the count. They need to watch how Kyle Schwarber works the count.

Bobby Dalbec needs to go to Worcester and fix his swing because he looks lost. I know he's not the only one but it's just swing swing swing. Occasionally he'll get a hit. But man, it's hard watching that.

The hits and runs will come. But it's painful to watch a game right now.

For those more in tune with our prospects and such, is Casas coming up in the near future a realistic possibility, or is Bloom going to take the conservative route with player development and going to wait for midseason? Looks like he's got good numbers and launching balls in Worcester. Meanwhile we're not getting much from either Bobby or Shaw right now at 1B.

Hell baby
They’re finding ways to lose close games against good teams like they did at times last year

Bats need to wake up, and not just our bats either. League-wide.

IIRC it wasn't too long ago there were complaints that the Red Sox were actually too disciplined at the plate, that they'd pass up good pitches just to get deep into the count which in theory was done to tire opposing pitchers. Now it has gone the other way. They can't seem to find the middle ground.

As for Dalbec he is who he is at this point, sending him down won't change a thing.

The Yankee Letter was released, it's not that bad.

They used the video replay room to decode signs and relayed it to a baserunner on 2nd. Pretty much the same thing the Red Sox and probably every other club was doing at the time.

Yeah, the only thing is that they cried that the Red Sox were doing it to the league while they were doing it themselves
