It's that time of year to cast your vote for the 2022 HFNHL Award Winners.

Firstly, the ones you already know:

- President's Trophy (points leader, regular season): Ottawa Senators (135 points)
- Art Ross trophy (top scorer, regular season): Aleksander Barkov, Carolina Hurricanes (104 points)
- Maurice Richard trophy (most goals, regular season): Aleksander Barkov, Carolina Hurricanes (53 goals)
- William Jennings Trophy (goalies sharing lowest GAA, regular season): Mike Smith/Tristan Jarry, Vancouver Canucks (2.26)
- Prince of Wales Trophy - Tampa Bay Lightning
- Clarence Campbell Trophy - Colorado Avalanche
- Stanley Cup Champion - Tampa Bay Lightning

Now on to the voting process...

We're using google forms again.

Take the time to research and vote on each individual award. Remember, you can't vote for someone in your own organization. HFNHL - Pro Individual Leaders

Those teams whose players or staff receive awards earn $500,000 for each honor received... but ONLY if that team participates in the voting process!

If there is someone you feel should win, but is not listed, you can now add them to the poll (type their name in the add option)

Voting will close Friday, July 22 at 11:59 EST

Feel free to use this thread to make your award pitches.

Florida Panthers Candidates

Norris Trophy
Cale Makar
His 66 assists were second in the entire HFNHL. His 79 points were third among defensemen. He LED THE PANTHERS IN SCORING BY 23 POINTS! That is absolutely unheard of. If there was a player more important to his team's success than Makar, I'd like to see them.

Calder Trophy
Alex Nedeljkovic
I know most people probably see Kiril Kaprizov and say he should be the shoe in. But Alex Nedeljkovic led the HFNHL in save percentage this year and was fourth in GAA. That's a remarkable first year in the league where he basically carried the Panthers to a respectable record and playoff position. Not only was he one of the best goalies in the HFNHL this year, but he was IMO the league's top rookie.

Victor Hedman - Norris

Cale Makar is going to win a lot of Norris trophies in his HFNHL career. It’s quite possible he’s already the best defenceman in the NHL. But not in the HFNHL - not this year. Makar had the second most assists in the league. Who was first? Victor Hedman.

The big Viking was the top blueline scorer in the entire HFNHL (85 points, putting him inside the top 35 d-man seasons OF ALL TIME - with the top 10 all being either Orr or Coffey).

He was also the top scorer on our club, carrying Columbus to a Division title and a whopping 45-point improvement in the standings year-over-year.

Makar will have his moment - probably many of them. But this year belongs to Hedman.

Ryan O'Reilly - Lady Byng

If you want to look at the leader page and find the lowest PIM's, this is your guy! Just a measly 2 PIM's while finishing 19th in league scoring.

If you want to dig deeper and look into players that play a significant and challenging role, with minimal PIM's, well hey, this is your guy!

O'Reilly was over a point a game, took 211 Hits, and put 345 shots, all while playing 20:15 per game...including 86 minutes on the Penalty Kill and a whopping 220 on the Power Play.

Thanks for the votes for GM of the year fellas. Easy vote as the cup winner I know but I appreciate it all the same. Lots of worthy candidates here but special cap tip to Douglas who got my vote. The changes to the Columbus roster the last couple years have been impressive and a lot of good work was put in.

Sounds like madness to me, but I appreciate it! Who needs a farm system, right?!
