The Ducks are taking offers on John Gibson. Looking for the best combination of young players/prospects/picks and willing to take on short term cap dumps to facilitate a deal.

A huge thank you to our fans for being patient over the last two years, we're finally here in person and the payoff is that we get to pick first overall!

With the first overall selection in the 2022 NHL Entry draft the Montreal Canadiens are proud to select, from the Kingston Frontenacs, SHANE WRIGHT!

Maple Leafs acquire Gurianov

The Maple Leafs have acquired the RFA rights to F Denis Gurianov, the RFA rights to F Adam Mascherin and a 2024 6th round pick from the Dallas Stars for G Petr Mrázek, D Justin Holl, F Roni Hirvonen, F Alex Steeves, and a 2023 3rd round pick

The Maple Leafs believe in Denis' ability to provide some scoring talent in the middle six. We are also pleased to find Justin Holl a good playing opportunity, while simultaneously creating full time lineup spots for Rasmus Sandin and Timothy Liljegren.

Will continue to listen to offers on Alexander Kerfoot and potentially Jake Muzzin; also looking to find Wayne Simmonds a clearer playing opportunity.

In the market for:
-middle six forwards
-starting or tandem goaltender

RFA Signings:
Denis Gurianov 2y/$2.5M AAV
Pierre Engvall 3y/$2.1M AAV
Rasmus Sandin 2y/$1.75M AAV
Timothy Liljegren 2y/$1.75M AAV
Kristians Rubins 2y/$750k AAV (2-way)
Adam Mascherin 1y/$750k (2-way)

Ondrej Kase has accepted his 1-year/$1.25M AAV qualifying offer as he continues to work towards full health with Toronto's medical staff.

Joseph Duszak, Chad Krys, and Ian Scott were not extended QO's and are set to become UFA's.

We have a trade to announce!

Montreal has acquired the RFA rights to Erik Brannstrom from Ottawa in exchange for 21 year old OHL Overager/Goon Arber Xhekaj.

Thrilled to add this highly skilled and highly misused defender to our budding D core.

We have also signed Brannstrom to a 1 year contract worth 900K

@Mrfenn92 to confirm.

Y'all hating on Tyler Seguin. Look in 5 years as Seguin recovers fine and Neighbors is nothing special. <3

Pavel Buchnevich is on the block!

Barabanov scored at a 4 less points over 82 games, is over 4x cheaper, is 3 years younger, is better defensively, not a locker room cancer, AND doesn’t have the injury issues yet he’s only worth a 4th but Seguin is worth a top prospect and a 2nd. Got it.

That trade should be vetoed for your sake. If you’re happy though, okay.

Guy's mad I didn't want Bobby Barnacle in a trade  No need to air the dirty laundry friend!
