I wonder if the Gorton/Bobrov connection will give Lias a shot in MTL. They drafted him in 2017.
Andersson's career summed up in 10 seconds:isn't Andersson the kid who threw his WJC silver medal into the crowd because it wasn't good enough, and then sat out on the Rangers over his place within their organization?
If so, it looks like the Kings might have clarified things for him today.
Will he stay or go back to Sweden? The NHL isn't for everybody. He might be a big star over there. The Swedish Wayne Gretzky, just like Michael Nylander once was -- in his own mind.

Believe he threw his medal into the stands because Canada received either four or five power plays in the third period of a championship game.isn't Andersson the kid who threw his WJC silver medal into the crowd because it wasn't good enough, and then sat out on the Rangers over his place within their organization?

Imagine that. An impulsive, undisciplined team drew penalties. Go figure?Believe he threw his medal into the stands because Canada received either four or five power plays in the third period of a championship game.
Should have shown more restraint but understandable in retrospect.

Your post makes it sound like you didn't see the game. In a physical game when both teams were competing only one team was being penalized.Imagine that. An impulsive, undisciplined team drew penalties. Go figure?
I guess you're thinking the refs should have evened out the penalties, and I'm thinking the Swedish team should not have committed so many infractions.Your post makes it sound like you didn't see the game. In a physical game when both teams were competing only one team was being penalized.
Had they "let then play" or called the game tightly and both teams received penalties it would have been acceptable.
That was not the case.
don't recall the last guy to sign a 1 way deal and get waived before ever playing a game with that teamFascinating because Janmark just signed with Edmonton this summer. I guess that’s the result of Holloway playing so well…
Samorukov wasn't good enough to make the Oils defense my guy lolIsles should take Samorukov, Dynamic duo with Romanov
