That's his first point in 14 games. He's averaging about 9 minutes per night, but has seen a jump recently up to about 17 minutes per night in his last three games.

So far, Matvey has three goals and six assists through six games to start the season. Picking back up where he left off it seems.

Not to take the wind out of his sails, but he still seems to be doing a lot of deferring to teammates and it's limiting his impact on the game.

This is a year where he should be imposing his elite skillset on lesser opponents. I'd like to see another gear from him. 50 goals should be the bar.
