Well my favorite would have been Marchand. He's had the 1st goal in the last 2 seasons and scored the first goal 3x in the last 10 years. Interestingly enough over the last 10 years of Bruins first games, a defensemen has only scored the first goal once (Chara).

My pick - David Pastrnak

Why: Back to back first goals in 2016 & 2017 openers. Best goal scorer on the team and the focal point of the PP. Looked really good with Zacha and Krejci this preseason.

Why: I Just want to see a subsection of posters on our board "reaction" to Foligno scoring the first goal.
