In my humble opinion, if the Dodgers beat the Cards they should be reseeded to the 2nd seed based on wins. Division titles should only guarantee a playoff appearance, not home field. This current method devalues overall wins.

Not a bad idea (in any sport really) to re-seed each round based on that premise.
