Yup, and I've been high on Smilanic since draft day and i"ve been pretty vocal about that. Yet he's #9 on my list. Nause might just be the best #10 ranked team prospect in the nhl. If he has a big year, I might move him to the top of all our D prospects. The more vids I keep watching of him, the more I think we got a 1st round talent in the 2nd round. He was rated by a lot of people and scouts as a 1st rounder.

Not sure if this is just me overhyping but he looks a little similar to Guhle to me just stylistically.

Yeah I can see the similarities. Guhle is nastier, but yeah with the skating I can see it. Nause's skating is just on another level. His 4 way mobility is top notch and the way he can turn and his edgework are simply in the elite of the elite category.
