It's time for our annual Ducks prospect rankings. Each poll will run for 48 hours except in the case of a clear landslide. I will go to the top 25 and include a final poll where you can pick 5 honorable mentions. Please tell me who you want me to add in the replies. In the twenty-third poll, I am voting for Thimo Nickl.

As always the list will define prospects as hockeysfuture does: NHL Prospect Criteria - Hockey's Future.

At this point I'm going with Dmen and Goalies
I think Badini and Perbix are guys who won't do well in the NHL and I doubt Badini ever plays an NHL game.

To me the next batch is

Lopina
Overager but had a great start in the NCAA where he showed his defense, faceoff ability and as much as I saw he can throw some hits too. Most likely will never be known for his offense but on paper is the prototypical 3rd line center
Sundsvik
Like Lopina, but even slightly younger and proven in the pros. This season in Champions League he already showing some production. He is still training in a red shirt so his SHL season debut is still on the works.
Kindopp
Had a nice season with San Diego, but is 2 years older than these guys.

So I will go with:

Sundsvik
Lopina
Kindopp

in that order.
HM I will consider soon: Drew, Alexander, Kukkonen, Nickl

Man, we can go to 30

I don’t feel like expanding from 25 is really necessary as we’ve always done 25 before. Though if people want, maybe expand the number of HMs from 3 to 5?

I think Nickl has the highest potential. So I went with him.

I went with Sundsvik but Nickl was a consideration as well. BM seemed pretty enthusiastic about Nickl after drafting him.

First I've seen anyone mention Kindopp. On a team without our tremendous prospect depth, a guy like Kindopp who quietly put up a half PPG in the AHL as a rookie pro, easily gets voted into their top 20. He was a big scorer junior and it will be interesting to see if he can become one for the Gulls
