It's time for our annual Ducks prospect rankings. Each poll will run for 48 hours except in the case of a clear landslide. I will go to the top 25 and include a final poll where you can pick 5 honorable mentions. Please tell me who you want me to add in the replies. In the tenth poll, I am voting for Jackson LaCombe.

As always the list will define prospects as hockeysfuture does: NHL Prospect Criteria - Hockey's Future.

Pretty deep top 10, with several good prospects still on the board that would be in the top 10 of multiple other teams in the league after LaCombe who I voted for and presume will win this one. Thinking some combo of Tracey, Colangelo, Moore, Volkov, and Hinds round out the top 15 for me after that.

List of players who have made the big 10 all star team as a sophomore defenseman. LaCombe, Werenski (also made it as a freshman), Mike Reilly, Vince Pedrie and Trevor Hamilton (23 year old sophomores), Quinn Hughes, Cameron York. Not bad company especially if you remove the two overage guys. It puts him in company to project as a top 4 defenseman.

Lacombe.

I can understand voting for Volkov here, he's got good floor and seems like he'll be a good 3rd line producer for the Ducks.

To be fair Werenski and Hughes were 1 year younger than LaCombe in their sophomore years. If you discount older ones, have to take into account younger ones as well.

Lacombe here, could be higher imo

prob got Tracey next…. Wasn’t overly impressive in San Diego, clearly wasn’t ready but there is still a lot of potential for him as a player
