NBC producing the world feed for the Toronto games, while Sportsnet will produce the world feed for Edmonton. Assuming that will be a clean feed that local broadcasters (and the opposite national broadcast) can overlay their graphics and broadcasters remotely from.

Hmmmm.

Golden Knights open camp looking for competitive advantage

McCrimmon said:
“The bottom line with the decisions that we’ve made in respect to camp are who can help us win a Stanley Cup game. This isn’t about player development. This isn’t about public relations or, ‘It’s a nice story.’ We brought the people to camp that we think could help us win a Stanley Cup game.”

Telling. This is not a "normal" playoff year where the prospects get to hang out for a few days/week to experience the NHL playoff atmosphere.

I have to call BS on that. There is no way Krebs is more ready to help the team than Pirri. Unless Pirri said he didn't want to be included it makes no sense from a competitive standpoint.

Krebs is a promising talent but his junior numbers weren't as good as Glass, he's smaller than Glass was to start the season, a year younger, was injured and is currently quarantined, has never played a professional game or a game against men. And we saw how Glass even struggled with regular season games.

Regardless what you think about Pirri, he would easily be the better choice in this situation given that he has played many NHL games in the past and proven he can be useful at this level.

Krebs would go back to junior hockey next season in a normal year but I'm supposed to believe they would realistically consider putting him in an intense playoff game? He is totally there to help his development.

He might be shorter, but he's much better built than Glass was, and is. Not sure why A. him being injured last off-season and start of the season andB. him being quarantined like every other player has been, is of any significance. Krebs isn't Glass. The fact that somebody struggled doesn't mean that another player will.

Who knows, maybe he could break into the roster. He's the type of player this team loves. But he most likely won't as we're pretty deep(same would go for Pirri, we have a lot of better options than Pirri), it'd be great and not the first time a young player breaks into a playoffs roster, though.

WRT Krebs having to self quarantine and will be "late to camp" by a day....

First, that means he wasn't in LV to quarantine. (May have had better situation in "home" town. Family, if nothing else.)

Second, it could be someone miscalculated or he was a late add/invite WRT travel, quarantine period in advance of training camp. (He might also have had an obligation, say a family wedding, that put a squeeze on time.)

Lots of potential reasons. Hard to say for sure without asking the player directly.

BTW, it has been announced that all a team will be saying WRT a player's health, during playoffs, whether from injury or illness is that the player is unavailable to play/participate in practice.
