For a prospect tooOnly a 2nd ... hmm ... I know goalies aren't great trade assets, but I would have thought more than a low 2nd.

Bring on fleury @50% and a 2nd please..
It just doesn't make any sense why the Stars wouldn't take that deal...
Right if ever there was a perfect move to make it's that.It just doesn't make any sense why the Stars wouldn't take that deal...
Or many other teams
Even still take that deal assuming it's a 2020 2nd. Deal with the other moves later3.5 million per season might still be too much for the Stars without other moves.

But are the Knights already willing to retain 50% ? Aren't they still looking to dump Fleury at full money on someone ?
Also I believe Vegas traded there 2020 2nds already so it would be 2021But are the Knights already willing to retain 50% ? Aren't they still looking to dump Fleury at full money on someone ?

I think they'll meet Carolinas draft capitol request before they dump better players.Vegas pretty much has to get rid of Fleury now with Lehner signed and their cap situation so i think teams in general aren't in a hurry to help Vegas out.
If they can't find a taker for Fleury they will have to start dumping other , better , contracts.

Yeah I don't see anyway they're in on pietrangelo. There's already rumors that Vegas is looking to find a taker for Alec Martinez if they can't find someone to take Fleury so you never know.
Also somehow Vegas is also rumored to be in on Pietrangelo and if they truely are they have to dump other contracts to afford that.
What is NSH clearing space for?
