fair enough. if there’s a suggestion box, i’d suggest we should split it up next year by position. all lumped together may have worked in the conte years, but now that we actually have a competent front office and one of the best prospect pools in the league, i think it makes more sense to rank our forwards, defensemen and goalies separately. because you’re right, senn definitely could develop into a good backup, kinkaid-type player. but how to rank that against a moynihan or maltsev, i have no idea. just my opinion

Talvitie has a good shot at being at least a 4th line guy. He plays a really good two-way game.

Jacobs has been in a system almost totally devoid of young defensemen for 4 years and has played 3 NHL games. He may end up playing more NHL games than most of the guys here, but that doesn't mean he was a better prospect than them - he just happened to be here when the system was at its weakest.
