Personally I am not a "PL fan" by the way. I don't like the idea of the PL becoming some sort of "superleague" at all. Unfortunately I do believe it is somewhat trending that way when Brighton is signing players like Berge who "big" teams like Sevilla seemingly have tried to sign for quite awhile.
It's really ridiculous, paid a figure out of the market and meaningless for a good player but not a phenomenon. A team that is as good as any Chievo that spends 90M on the market. As if the top teams weren't enough to kill the market ... while almost the rest of the world is waiting for the end of the British market.
For Berge they asked for 20 / 25M, with teams like Sevilla (and not only), they sold it at 30. Brighton.
