this draft is amazing for WHL, there are more guys I never listed that will be giving runs too from the WHL

Thank you for the list, it's always appreciated.

Any chance you can post who owns the rights of these players at the next level?

If it's too much of a chore, I can do it myself, but thought you might have that kinda thing.

45. Mikko Petman—F—SaiPa U16 5’10/170 25 17 30 47

Petman is unfortunately playing on Lukko cause our B-junior (U18) teams sucked last season and they dropped to B-juniors Mestis.
Petmans stats are:

Mikko Petman
Lukko U18 League 12 games 3+6=9
Lukko U18 Leagues qualification-serie 15 games 3+5=8
Lukko U16 League 5 games 6+6=12

Compared to Aaltonen:
Leevi Aaltonen
KalPa U20 League 2 games 0+0=0
KalPa U18 Leagues playoffs 4 games 1+2=3
KalPa U18 League 15 games 7+14=21
KalPa U18 Leagues qualification serie 23 games 14+24=38

You should keep on eye on center Henri Nikkanen, born 28 april 2001.
Henri Nikkanen
JYP U20 League playoffs 3 games 1+1=2
JYP U20 League 13 games 3+8=11
JYP U18 League lower serie 4 games 3+5=8
JYP U18 Leagues qualification serie 30 games 11+16=27

Where would you put Lafreniere if he were eligible and not a late bday?

With all the hype, I wouldn't be surprised if he is considered the best of all the 2019 eligibles.

Interesting that Parent has fallen to 30. Is size the main thing that's holding him back or have his peers caught up to him skill-wise as well?

I tought Dmitri Sheshin was considered the best forward prospect from Russia in the 2019 draft. Any reason why you dont have him on your list?

How does this draft compare to other drafts? Like 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. Where would you rank this draft between those 4 from what we know now

Nice list, but it's going to look incredibly different only 8-12 months from now.

I would put Viktor Söderström ahead of all swedish players listed there.
Very impressive statline i must say, have you watched him play? If so, is his numbers an accurate description of his talent?

Also, very surprised over Nils Höglander not being on the list.

Nice to see you giving Nolan Foote some credit. I've watched a lot of him this year, have been watching the Rockets for over 10 years and have never seen a D-2 player impact games like him. Needs to work on his skating but he's got time on his side as well as a very solid frame (noticeably stockier/boxier than his brother, who is built like Pietrangelo). Has the best release on the team already and I expect will add some strength this summer, making him very challenging for opposing defenders..

Also just a note that he plays for Kelowna, not Lethbridge

2019 will be an extremely strong year from the WHL all things considered. Dach and Krebs are both premier players and there is a pretty big group of guys tearing up AAA leagues right now, too
