With the 2019 draft and development camp done and finished, what do you think the Caps prospect rankings should be this year? Part of an ongoing series.

Admittedly, I'm not familiar with a lot of them, so it'll be interesting to read what you guys think.

I took this initial list from another site, so feel free to request an add of another prospect!

The requirement is U25, and less than 25 NHL games played.

Note: I'll start the next prospect ranking thread the next day if the polling isn't close. If two or more prospects are within 10 votes of each other, I'll leave that thread out for the additional day.

Which guy has the most points, adjusted for league and position?

That's who I'm voting for.

I'm going with Gersich, who should be above AJF (which at #7 is a horrible result). A good year from Snively could propel him above Gersich, but Gersich is probably very close to earning a cup of coffee and probably is the better player right now. But I like Snively a lot.

Malenstyn I absolutely adore as a 4th line guy, but you shouldn't be ranking those guys above Gersich or Snively, who definitely have higher ceilings.

I think Beck Malenstyn has the best chance of becoming a semi-regular NHLer out of the lot, so I'm going with him. His upside is likely lower than someone like Gersich, Snively, Clark, Sutter, Protas, or Pinho but he's the cleanest remaining prospect in terms of skillset and roster fit.

Exactly my feeling as well. I think Beck has a very good chance to be an impact bottom-6er. Very, very low never-NHLer potential.

Beck makes sense since he's probably the closest to being able to be seen as a NHL player but I like other players' upside more, such as Snivley, Gersich, Sutter, Protas, etc

If Snively wins I think the picture should be of Snidely Whiplash because who could tell anyway

I'm going to leave this poll open for one more day since it's still tied between Malenstyn and Snively. Hopefully by tomorrow we'll have a winner.

Perhaps we should have a runoff vote just between Malenstyn and Snively.

I was thinking of doing just that, and I probably would have, but because of HFBoards being down for a long extended period I figured I'll just leave it open for another day so people can still vote regularly like normal.

Extenuating circumstances and stuffs.

Yeah, fair enough. It was down for a significant period of time.

Kind of think if no one gets to at least 25% of the vote, do a run off of the top 3 or whatever. Or just Snively and Malenstyn
