Zadina and Svechnikov are both RW, Kotkaniemi is a C. I doubt Zadina will be picked outside of the top 5, fantastic talent.

I agree, Zadina is an amazing player and could easily be taken in the top 5, but in my opinion, this draft has 6 or 7 players and say that they'd be a top 5 pick in any draft. At the end of the year, I could see Zadina going top 3, but right now, I see Hughes as the more likely pick for Florida and Tkachuk the more likely pick for Ottawa

Thanks for the positions on Zadina, Svechnikov and Kotkaniemi

Zadina has played LW and RW, and I was under the impression Kotka was playing wing also.
Technically almost every player “can” player many positions. Centers can always play the wing of their handedness, wingers can play the opposite side, etc. As far as more common, Zadina is almost always on the right, where he will be in the pros. Jesperi has the size for center, he just needs to work on his skating, he shouldn’t be a winger.

I personally think Groulx, Veleno, McIsaac, Addison are a bit high, while Zadina, Kotkaniemi, Kupari, Mattias Samuelsson, Lundestrom, Dobson are a tad low.

Additionally, Xavier Bouchard is not a first rounder rn

That run of players before the Rangers picks breaks their hearts; and then they take Kupari in this scenario. I could see them falling in love with Dobson or Samuelsson too though.

I could too, I just don't think Dobson's defensive game is where they'd like it to be
