The remaining NL races can be wrapped up today:

  • Cubs clinch the NL Central with a win AND a Brewers loss.
  • Rockies clinch the NL West with a win AND a Dodgers loss.
  • Dodgers clinch the second NL wild card with a win OR a Cardinals loss.

Team winning despite Boone's incompetence. Good luck to the A's as well, I'll be rooting for them to come out of the AL if the Yankees don't.
With as little as Boone is being paid and the roles of managers changing I'm certain Boone has little power and basically makes the moves the front office tells him to.

Well, yeah. It was still a close game. They're not gonna open their legs like the Dbacks did for the Rockies last weekend.
This is funny because Dodgers were the team Lovullo rested his 2 best hitters against.

I understand Dodgers’ fans have to believe in the “teams are letting the Rockies win” because it’s embarrassing to compete for a division title against a team that has played Ian Desmond 157 times on the year.

The Dodgers are being pushed like they hav never been pushed during their NL West hegemony, but they sure as hell are not going to give up the NL West without a fight.

If Colorado can’t do it this year, though, it could be a while before someone else wins the NL West
