the pressure is getting to them. you can tell that pearce didn't wanna end the game while looking at a strike, he committed to swinging way before he saw the pitch and swung on a nasty pitch that was way inside. these guys need to relax. i know they are at a place no other jays team has ever been but it's getting to their heads now.

Why is that a bad thing?
The other scenario is him walking away as a free agent after next year.
I love Donaldson, but would prefer to see them get a return on one of the best players in the game before he leaves for nothing.
There is nothing in this management's DNA so far that would suggest they're going to make a long-term commitment to him.
