I would say that Aho and Laine could be playing in NHL. I think it's too early for Juolevi and Puljujärvi, so we have a good chance to see them again next year @ WJC! :)

I was secretly hoping they would lose the final, because now they have nothing to achieve anymore on that junior level.

The best case scenario:

Patrik Laine - Sebastian Aho - Jesse Puljujärvi
Jonne Tammela - Otto Somppi - Aleksi Saarela
Petrus Palmu - Julius Nättinen - Kristian Vesalainen
Kasper Björkqvist - Henrik Borgström - Eetu Tuulola
Sami Tavernier

Olli Juolevi - Vili Saarijärvi
Juuso Välimäki - Urho Vaakanainen
Markus Niemeläinen - Veeti Vainio
Robin Salo

Veini Vehviläinen
Christian Heljanko

C S Aho
A O Juolevi
A J Puljujärvi

Edit. Forgot Salo.. Also if any of the Pula-aho line is in the NHL, Saarela becomes the 1st line center. I just wanted to have him in the top6

Olli Juolevi - Vili Saarijärvi
Juuso Välimäki - Urho Vaakanainen
Markus Niemeläinen - Veeti Vainio
Kasper Kotkansalo
I'd take Robin Salo any day over Kotkansalo.

Otherwise there's nothing that can't be chalked up to personal taste.

I want to see Saarela as a center.
That's a very distinct possibility, given his mature play this year.

Vehviläinen
Heljanko
Viksten

Juolevi - Saarijärvi
Välimäki - Vainio
Salo - Niemeläinen
Vaakanainen

Laine - Aho - Puljujärvi
Palmu - Nättinen - Tuulola
Björkqvist - Saarela - Tammela
Vesalainen - Somppi - Borgström
Vidgren

C - Aho
A - Saarela
A - Juolevi

Tolvanen for Vidgren and a bigger role for Vaakanainen and I mostly agree.

I could well see Björkqvist as part of captain trio. He was captain in U18 worlds last year and he really has the personality for that role IMO.

Aho is the most likely captain though, but I see easily Björkqvist getting A.

Best-case scenario is that Finland ices the best team they've ever brought to this tournament. Although more realistic one is that of the big 4, only Aho and Juolevi are back. Even they could make the NHL next season though. Without injuries, i think Laine and Puljujarvi are in the NHL. They might start at the AHL or be loaned though, but that again depends on the team that drafts them and how they develop their young guys.

Should be a great team coming back.

Bjorkqvist would have been top9 player in this year's team if he had played with Blues. He's very likely a top6 player in the next team.

With all the hype of the draft 2015 players, how many have become regulary NHL players this season? Only McDavid, Hanifin and Eichel as far I know. I think the chance of Puljujärvi and Laine will come back next year is big. But off course it depends on the team they go to.

I think it is a bigger risk of losing Aho, just because he is older, and carolina do not seem to shy away from giving young players the chance.

It will be intresting to see how much they can dominate in the upcoming U18, which I guess they(laine and Puljujärvi) will be playing in?

That tournament is on top of Liiga playoffs, which will take preference if Kärpät and Tappara are still in it. And if they aren't, well... there has also been talk - and not just any talk, as even Kari Jalonen, the coach himself has got into it - that they might feature in men's NT games.

But if they somehow make it to the U18 Worlds? Well, I guess after this, you don't expect nothing less than for them to absolutely murder said games.

Puljujärvi hasn't even been able to produce in the Finnish league so far. That's why I can't understand people who are saying that he'll surely be in the NHL a year from now.

First you have to understand that, Kärpät play their own end first.. So pulju hadnt had chance to produce more.. and he's leading kärpät on cf%
