Where should they play him?
Wherever he can get the necessary minutes a player who is expected to bring offense can play.

Whether that's on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd line...find a role for him.

You know, like they've gone out of their way to do for Hudon. He plays 10-14 mins a game, he plays on the PP, he moves up in the lineup in game situations.

If all they have to give Carr is 6 mins on the 4th line...

Call up Deslauriers or Baun instead

I would argue that Carr can probably do more with those 6 minutes than Deslauriers and Baun can.

Who's not letting those guys to generate offense from the 4th line?

You have Chucky, Pacioretty and Hudon on the LW where else is Carr going to play if not on the 4th line?

Maybe...but that's roughly 3 shifts a period.

Hard to get much of anything done with that

I don't disagree. However, I still think Carr can do something on a few of those shifts. If not score, at least make something happen in terms of momentum. And he has the better hands should an opportunity present itself.

From what Raphael Doucet says on the broadcast, Friday's game against Lehigh Valley seems to be selling real well that they may open up the upper bowl to accommodate the ticket sales.

Carr has played both wings for the Habs

Lehkonen is injured.

There's an opportunity

- Daniel Carr with his 9th and 10th of the season: 16 pts in 14 games. He sits second in the AHL for goals scored.
- Peter Holland with his 8th goal and an 8th assist, as well. He also has 16 points in 14 games.
- Antoine Waked with his 1st career goal in the pros. He has 3 points in 13 games.
- Jordan Boucher with his 2nd goal of the season. Those goals are his only points in 10 games.

- Michael McCarron with his 4th assist. He has 6 points in 9 games.
- Daniel Audette with his 5th assist. He has 10 points in 16 games.
- Matt Taormina with his 15th and 16th assists. He has 18 points in 16 games.
- Jakub Jerabek with his 10th assist. He has 11 points in 10 games.
- Jeremy Gregoire with his 4th assist. He has 6 points in 10 games. That is not bad at all for a depth player.

Jerabek finished with a +1 once again even if the team allowed 4 goals and is now tied for the league lead in the +/- with + 13.

I heard the same thing yesterday on 91.9 FM. Advance sales are spiking for Friday's game.
