2 quick thoughts:

1) Madbum is a terrible nickname. Nicknames in general suck now because all we have are the hockey nickname ( -y, -er, -sy names), initial/# combos (cb4, cp1, etc) and these weird portmanteau names that are just parts of the first/last names. Like, hey, we should hope for a great game today out of MarStro and maybe JD20 and Tulsy's bats wake up and lead TBJs to a big win, especially if there are added contributions from JuSmo and KevPil and big MS21 over in left. Argh.

2) Kevin Barker is awful. It's not just the ridiculous drawly accent. He says so much without ever saying anything. Jamie asks him about Stroman's sinker and why lefties might've been hitting it, and he launches into a broad talk about throwing a bunch of pitches and how the cutter helps. Jamie asks him about Tulo's mechanical changes and a "flat bat" and he responds with "you've got A, and B, and C, and D and you're trying to go A to D, and a flat bat...." or some nonsense.
