No, 100 is right. It's nothing different. Some catchers will get into ridiculous positions to block an offspeed pitch, too.

I've never noticed him doing anything that other catchers don't. Seems very common for catchers to set a target for their pitcher. Perhaps they were just setting up outside more than normal so it was exaggerated?
