Canadians may want to keep an eye out for Antoine Bouchard in the 66kg Men's Judo competition.

Not sure if they're showing it in Canada but he just upset one of the top medal threats in the round of 32 and has a much easier match in the round of 16.

Bouchard got eliminated - but he has a chance in the repechage.

Awesome! Is he considered a favorite against his opponent in the Bronze medal bout?

Not sure. but he's been kicking behind against everyone. (the only loss was the one in the quarters), so i wouldn't count him out even if he wasn't.

Canadian and 2012 bronze medalist Antonie Valois-Fortier beaten in the quarter finals, though I believe he can still get to a bronze medal match if he wins his repechage match.

And while I'm a proud Canadian, I'm rooting for Travis Stevens of the USA, who is also a BJJ black belt under John Danaher and Garry Tonon, to win gold.

I hope Kayla Harrison repeats in 78kg today. I was so proud to see her win USA's first gold ever in the sport at the last games!

Harrison is the only Olympic medalist, other than hockey, I've ever met. Really happy she got another gold.

Hmm.... The Egyptian Judo ka refused to shake hands with the Israeli guy after losing. Politics should stay out of the Olympics, sadly it usually doesn't
