The Avs have Olhaver's rights for 3 more seasons, not one. He was drafted out of Sweden in his first year of eligibility.

But he played CHL the first season after being drafted...I thought it went by post draft, not pre....but I have no reference for that, so could very well be wrong.

It is where the players are drafted from that matters. And we have seen that leagues without transfer agreements, those rights can pretty much be held the player reaches UFA age. Mironov falls in that category.

You are right, I counted 30 eligible this year so we'll do a top 20 with 5 HM.

Olhaver is playing in Sweden this year, I think his foray into NA hockey didn't go as well as expected. And yes those 3 are gone from the Avs system, they might stay in FW. Schumacher is gone too in case anyone wasn't aware.

I'll add whoever can produce a proper eliteprospects page :nod:

I really hope Clurman squeaks this out. He's getting seriously underrated now, and I'd like the chance to vote for somebody else. :D

Is Clurman really underrated? Has anyone actually seen this guy play a real game? I understand Oliver had a lot of nice things to say but it'd be nice to see him play at a higher level first.

Yes and no. I think he's better than 18th but all the D from 11 down are roughly equal, I definitely wouldn't suggest he go higher than that group. He looked good in dev camp to me and has all the tools but yeah seeing him play would help.
