I don't think many people care this year.

Be careful when posting links/tweets. Do not fall for any fake accounts.

I'll watch but only because I like hockey.

It would be a huge shock if SJ much today.

Ducks could end up with 3 first round picks if they trade Fowler for 8th or 9th. And then maybe they make a move for a top-6 pick? :(

Is there a dropoff after the top six or something?
Drop off after top-5, but I don't think any team would trade down from there. Maybe trade the pick for a deal around a player, but not down to 8/9 just to pick up more picks in the draft. I could see Calgary or Arizona trading down a couple spots from 6/7, unlikely but more possible than Edmonton or Vancouver trading down from 4/5.. At #6 there will still be some legit potential first liners available; Alexander Nylander, Clayton Keller, etc. Or some top-pairing potential D, the big three Chychrun/Juolevi/Sergachev.

DW will surely try to pick up some picks with Reimer polak and spalings rights.

You'd have to think at least one of wingels nieto or even Dillon could be put up for picks.

Past that I don't see any moves

But unlikely any of those players net a first rounder. So unlikely we do anything today.

Hard to valuate. He could certainly try a package of some kind.

But I agree it's unlikely. I'm hopeful he has some magic up his sleeve today.

I'm not because this draft is pretty meh unless you're picking in the top 5. Not much separation between 25-60.

If there's a team that talks w/ Riemer and he's willing to sign a contract he could be moved for a late pick.

No one would move a pick for Polak or Spaling's rights.

I'm wondering if Wingels might be used in a package to move up in the 2nd round.

A d man that went for a 2nd could certainly grab a late pick for his rights.

We got a pick for Andrew murrays rights if I recall.

I'm thinking he may be part of the exposed forwards for the expansion draft.

:dunno:

He'd have to sign an extension first but maybe...they have other they can expose w/o having to risk keeping them if they don't get taken.
