I'm more than willing to give credit for the info he shares, he does a great job and is an asset to the board because of it. We just don't see eye to eye when it comes to our opinions.

Cap wise, it's nice to hear Smid won't play, but in reality, I really really do hope he has a full recovery ASAP. Always seemed like a good guy, I'm happy the org is actually going to have him doing stuff and not just sending him home to sit on the couch.

Me and MM are good buds, I am just giving him a hard time. Despite how he comes across a lot, he's an extremely genuine person. I just know the history him and Calcs have had, I had to comment on it.

sorry to break up the love fest between arch rivals but are there any team or coach updates on Backlund? Even something unofficial like "we expect him to start skating soon" or "we're going to try and get him in the last preseason game" or "he'll likely be ready for the start of the season".

This article gives the impression that the 'injury' being his back strain isn't really progressing yet? Since its relatively minor they are just waiting and seeing I guess.

Hopefully Monahan doesn't have back problems down the line like say, Daze.
