From what I have seen of him over the years its not an unusual start, he gets himself in trouble and typically finds a way out of it with minimal runs. Buck doesn't seem to know this when discussing him getting into trouble.

I'll have to trust you on that then, I don't watch him pitch much, but he's got a 0.98 WHIP, 2nd in the AL behind Keuchel who has 0.97. He doesn't give up many baserunners, or at least hasn't this year.
