It is time for the General Managers of the HFNHL to complete their sworn duty to vote for the starters of the 2015 HFNHL All Star Game.

Below can be found the links for voting. Read the instructions carefully.

Remember the following Rules:

RULES:
1. You can't vote for anyone within your own organization.
2. Most votes per position wins.
3. $250,000 voted in at their position as listed above.
4. Voting is mandatory. Those GMs who don’t submit a vote will have their name submitted to the Admin team for disciplinary action. They will also void their team from receiving any cash earned through All-Star selections (and yes, even though we're doing the voting a new way, we can track who has voted).
5. The winning GMs will fill out the rest of the roster with their selections once the starters are named.

Votes are due by Tuesday, January 20

Please use this thread to hype your own candidates.

Carolina All Stars

Jon Lemoine - Eastern Conference GM, Let some key players test the RFA market and got them signed long term to below market deals. Which has allowed the team to have one of the lowest payrolls in the league and still be one of the top teams in the East.

Patrick Roy - Eastern Conference Coach, Roy has taken a team that many expected to finish outside of the playoffs and so far managed to have them be a top 4 team in the East.

Ben Bishop - Eastern Goalie, Where might we be without the performance of Ben Bishop. He is in the top 15 in GAA and Sv%. Top 10 in wins, and shutouts despite his team giving up the 2nd most shots per game. Also giving up more shots then they take.

Alex Goligoski - Eastern Dman, He is amongst the leaders in every category for defence man. 7th in points, tied for 12th blocked shots, 6th minutes played 15th takeaways.

Stephane Robidas - Eastern Dman, Also amongst the leaders for defenseman should be a write in vote. 4th in takeaways, tied 8th in minutes played, 5th shots blocked, just outside the top 15 in points.

James Van Riemsdyk - Eastern Forward, 10th in the league in goals, 5th in shots, 14th leading scorer amongst centres, 8th amongst LW, 9th points per 20 minutes, 4th Power play goals, and tied 7th penalty shot goals.

Also we endorse voting for members of the Putadelphia Flyers, Buffalo Sabres and Chicago Blackhawks organizations after you have voted for the Hurricanes listed above.

Henrik Lundqvist faced more shots than any goalie with good stats yet still remains in the top of every major goalie catergory with just over a 2GAA and a 920sv% Lundqvist is the reason the Wings have stayed competative

Panthers All Star Pimpin'

James Neal
The top scoring left winger in the HFNHL right now. Neal currently sits 4th in league scoring with 53 points. He's also 2nd in assists. He is hopefully a shoe-in for an all star vote considering he's been one of the league's most consistent forwards this year on one of the league's top teams.

Jonathan Quick
Not at the top of the league in goaltending statistical categories as he usually is, but he stills sits 5th in the East in GAA and Save percentage and he remains the most important player for the Eastern Conference's second best team.

Tomas Plekanec
The 5th highest scoring center in the Eastern Conference right now. Plekanec is also one of the league's top two-way players.

Brock Otten
His Panthers are the two time defending HFNHL champions (only back to back winner in league history). He's also got his Panthers back to elite status again this year as they currently sit 2nd in the Eastern Conference. In fact, the Panthers have the 3rd best winning percentage in the entire HFNHL behind NJ and Colorado.

Todd McLellan
See the explanation above. The Panthers are about as consistent as it comes when you're talking about the HFNHL. They're back to their winning ways again this year and McLellan deserves a ton of credit for that, especially since the roster has had turnover nearly every season.

Jeff Skinner
5th in league scoring, 4th in goals scored, despite playing on the 23rd ranked Flames.

Andrej Sekera
5th in assists in the entire league - and the top ranked defenseman in assists. 2nd in Dman scoring by a single point and 23rd in league scoring overall. 7th in the league in TOI. And it's not only with the puck, as Sekera is 2nd in the league in take-aways.

Flames Write in Vote:

Western Forward: ZACH PARISE - CHI

Yay! Thanks. Shocked Parise is being not shown any love.

He's 2nd in Goals scored with 27 in 43 games. Nearly a point a game with 41 in 43 games. Is a +10. Has a 16.7 Shooting %. 10 PPG. Plays tough 20.6 minutes per game. Maybe the Latvians will send in their votes and get him in there.

Ducks Take Flight - 2015 HFNHL All Star Game Ballots

The Forwards:
The Newcomers
Henrik Sedin
Ryan Kesler
Rick Nash
These three have ben very important additions to a resurgent Ducks team this season.
Through 43 games, they are ranked 7, 11, and 12 respectively in total scoring with 49 points for Sedin and 46 for Kesler/Nash. Due to the Ducks depth, both Sedin and Nash play just under 20 minutes per game, which makes their point totals even more impressive.

The D:
It begins and ends with the Ducks Dynamic Duo on Defence. The Duckamaniacs know they are the pillars of conferences second ranked team. Ryan Suter is on the ballot, but Drew Doughty deserves write-in consideration. Both Suter and Doughty have sacrificed offense this year, thanks to the forward groups ability to score. They are Mr. Third Assist, especially on the Ducks highly ranked power play.

The Net:
Ryan Miller, acquired late last season, has been exceptional in net. His win totals are lower than some, but that is due to a management decision to keep him fresh with the strong play of backup Justin Peters. 18 wins, a 2.28 GAA and .920 save% have helped to carry the mail.

The Coach:
In his first season as Ducks head coach, Bob Hartley has the team at 57 points through 43 games. Only 7 points behind the team TOTAL last season. His ability to manage the lines, and goalies has helped keep the Ducks injury free this season, balanced, and winning. The Ducks are third in the league in Goals For/Goal Against (130.7%).

GM:
After enduring the debacle of last season, Ducks Management led by GM Roy Larsen made numerous moves that have paid dividends. Dealing away higher priced talent from last years team was done to have the cap room to bring in new talent and build down the center of the ice. In addition, they revamped nearly every line with a premium placed on certain attributes. The team is now in strong contention despite the opinions of some GMs who thought the Duck pick would turn into McDavid or Eichel.

Boston's best

Boston has voted for it's all-stars, but would like to send kudos to it's two players nominated for the All-Star party...Jason Spezza and Kevin Shattenkirk!

Jason Spezza has played extremely well this year - leading the team in points - against all odds at times - and providing a boost to a rather anemic scoring top 6. He is the team's top player, both on the ice, and at the Rusty Bean.

Kevin Shattenkirk is a powerful force from the blueline. He belongs in the upper echelon of the league's defensemen. He is a tremendous asset to the team, and proves that hard work combined with top-notch talent is an unstoppable force in both hockey, and the art of chugging ale.

My players all suck and except for MacKinnon no one was even nominated. None the less, a vote for PIT is a vote for justice, liberty and is just the right thing to do.

So do the right thing and do it often!

Senators votes are in!

With the truly pathetic season my team has turned in bright spots are nearly non-existant. A dim light however is the play of defenseman Zbynek Michalek with 64 shot blocks putting him close to top 15 and his 50 take aways are 3rd highest in league with only 10 give aways while logging over 22 mins a night.

Vote for Zbynek!!!

Little late, but for anyone who hasn't voted yet...

Ryan Getzlaf - Leads league in scoring by 7 points.
Blake Wheeler - Second in East in scoring

PK Subban - 3rd in D Scoring in East, also has 77 hits and a +12. Has been the best 2-way dman in the conference.

Tukka Rask - 2nd in East in s%, just .001% behind Crawford despite playing in 17 more games. Leads league in wins by a large margin.

Jon Cooper - Coaching the team to the best record in the HFNHL

Rich Epstein - squeaked into the playoffs last year, fixed the biggest problem (goaltending), made some other moves to retool and now have the best record in the entire HFNHL.

Shameless Bump for the Best of the Bruins

Shameless bump for the Best of the Bruins. That rolls off the tongue like the title of a 1980s ABC after-school made for TV movie.
