2015/16 Buzzwords

As the title says: let's vent a little bit about buzzwords.

In the last few years, we all saw how the word 'process' became an all-encompassing concept. Everything is a process and I expect that the trending process of the word 'process' will proceed as usual this year.

Any other buzzword that annoys you? This year I feel we're gonna hear the expression 'managing expectations' quite a lot. Just for the Habs-Leafs game, I think we heard Price, Therrien and Babcock use that in one form or the other.

'Puck possession' is another one that is trending up on major broadcasts. And it's funny because most of the time, you can sort of tell that the guys on TV use the term but they're not 100% sure of what exactly we're talking about here.

Radio types who begin every sentence with "The Montreal Canadiens", just to fill air time (yeah you Marinaro and you too Gallo, Campbell and all the other teenagers TSN690 inflicts upon us). The English language is replete with synonyms and tons of generic references but you'd never know it listening to these guys. We know you're talking about the Habs, we heard it the other 50 times you were trying to make yourself sound authoritative.
