Well, last vote I went with the SHL rookie of the year, so it only follows that my next vote should be for the runner up.

Nilsson.

Add Broll.

Sam Carrick.
I like Verhaeghe, but Sam Carrick was the most complete player on the Marlies through the whole 2nd half and was PPG down the stretch as well. He's such a tough player and leader on the ice. Killer on faceoffs. Never gives up on anything. Can fight too. He's not a 4th liner. He'll score 20 goals one day in the NHL i think... Verhaeghe might have the seemingly higher upside after last season in terms of his scoring potential, but Carrick is not only doing it in the AHL, but i think his game is currently far more complete. He kills Penalties too, and always took the big defensive faceoffs. He was 80% on home ice at one point.

Plus. Spott says he's Captain Material... and spott is now with the leafs.
We'll be seeing Carrick in the NHL soon enough.
Can't complain about Verhaeghe winning this one, but i'm still voting Carrick.

To me its Carrick...And if were voting for a junior player... Bibeau was more impressive then Carter although i do like Verhaghe.

Bibeau had the more impressive playoffs. Verhaeghe was a top 20 scorer and led his team in points while being more than a year younger than Bibeau.
