I know Lieuwin (predictably) turned into a pumpkin...but Makarov had a shutout today at least
Kane, Toews, Seabrook, Keith, Crawford, Bickell, HjalmarssonCrazy to think how sick this team will be in 2-3yrs when all these high picks crack the lineup. To think, Chicago only really has 2 highly skilled players (that they drafted, not including Teravinen) in their system - http://capgeek.com/blackhawks.
Buffalo might have 4 or 5 when all is said and done (and that's not including D). Sprinkle in a few FA's (ie Hossa/Sharp) and holy S balls... It's going to be like the Patriots in the NFL... TOTAL DOMINATION.
Buffalo's time is coming... Hang tight!
Brandon Lemieux scored his 29th of the season!
I keep forgetting about Isackson. How has he looked this year? And where might he fit down the line?

He's a marginal bottom six player on Minny, I'd be a bit shocked if he was even offered an AHL contract.
Baptiste collects five points in two games; Karabacek is on the move

Brendan Lemieux (2014, second round) continued to burn out OHL goal lamps, adding four more tallies to his season haul last week as Barrie barreled their way to four consecutive victories.
After going without a goal Monday versus Owen Sound, the powerful winger scored twice Wednesday in a 6-1 pasting of Belleville. On Friday, Lemieux scored the game-winning goal plus an assist in the Colts’ 4-3 victory at Kingston. He kept it going on Saturday with a power-play marker in a 10-3 blowout of London.
Lemieux ranks third in the Ontario Hockey League with 29 goals in 32 games, exceeding the 27 in 65 games he posted in all of 2013-14. His 16 power-play goals are tops in the league, while his 89 PIMs are second-most among all skaters.
Buffalo Sabres: A
J.T. Compher was USA's fourth-line center, but was used in different situations and on special teams throughout the tournament. He showed fine speed, skill and work ethic. He wasn't a standout in any respect, but he was somewhat noticeable.
Hudson Fasching hasn't been as impressive during his sophomore campaign at Minnesota as he was a freshman. But at this tournament, he showed some of the same promise he displayed last season. Fasching is a big, power winger with good speed, who can kill penalties and has the skill to score as a pro. He wasn't always in the offensive mix, but he certainly created a fair amount of chances both at even strength and on the penalty kill.
Victor Olofsson has had a nice season in Sweden, but in the tournament, he didn't play a ton and wasn't very noticeable at even strength. He has a great shot and a fine skill level, but possesses a small frame and is a fringe NHL prospect as of now.
Sam Reinhart was my vote for tournament MVP. He was Canada's horse all tournament long. He was first over the boards for a power play or penalty kill, and centered the top line, which was used heavily against every opponent's top line. Despite playing tough minutes, he was one of the top scorers at the tournament, displaying his elite hockey sense and vision regularly.
Going to put this in here and the WJC thread. Pronman did his write-up of all drafted prospects that played in the WJC by NHL team that drafted the players, and then assigned a letter grade to the team. Buffalo and Winnipeg were the only two teams that earned an "A".

Looks like Bailey might be heading to the Soo
I've been told it's a done deal
Will that benefit Bailey? I don't know the two teams well enough.

Thanks for the responses. So that's great then! Hopefully a Mem Cup run? Kelowna getting Draisaitl means they're stacked as **** though.
