I think Connolly will get a top 6 spot. Do not want to split up the second line. By game 20 I could see Killer and Drouin being swapped. Gudas where he should be.

I thought a lot whether let Sustr play bottom pairing in Tampa or send him to Syracuse. We saw last season that he's NHL-ready. And for Barberio it will be key season, he should play, but there is not lot of place and Yzy said that he maybe sign another d-man. It will be interesting

As good as they were, Palat doing the dirty work for 100% healthy Stamkos could be lethal too. Lots of great options. I feel like this is finally the year where we really hit stride and get the Yzerera underway.

I hope the speculated Kucherov-Drouin-Connolly line is used this season, that could be a really fun line to watch. Drouin has had chemistry with both players in the past and could be what gets them over the hump to becoming productive NHL players.

Yzerology, duh

Johnson and Stamkos or Callahan and Palat. Johnny and Pally can be flipped, but they will definitely be on the same lines come game 1.

I'm sure that will change as time goes on, but early on they want the last year combo's again.

I don't think we're bringing in Erhoff. He only became available to talk to last night. SY was talking about moving out forwards for caproom before his buyout. Got to think one of Niskanen/Fayne/Stralman are the target, all younger and naturally right handed. I'd prefer a cheaper stopgap like Gilbert myself but SY will go big for someone.
