You have this listed as for futures in the first post, but it was actually part of the NHL trade between San Jose (Gogol) and Minnesota (Rau).

Technically, it's two separate deals.
http://www.sharksahl.com/story.asp?story_id=3798

By the way, I've made some adjustments to the "released" and "trade" sections to make them more readable.

per Patricia Teter
Former Portland & Gwinnett Keven Veilleux has agreed the terms with HC05 Banská Bystrica - Slovak Extraliga for the rest of 2013-14 season..

Added Veilleux and John Curry (Iowa) to the "released" section.

San Antonio trades Adam Brace to Bridgeport for Mike Dalhuisen.

Bridgeport made another trade today :

Zack Miskovic traded from Rockford to Iowa for future considerations. Done in concert with the Chicago/Minnesota trade of Brad Winchester for Brian Connelly

http://icehogs.com/news/icehogs/?article_id=4127

Could someone please explain what "future considerations" means...as a fan of medvescak zagreb from croatia (we compete in russian khl) i was hoping to see him next season maybe...he has some croatian roots and such players are always interesting for us...if he wants to come to europe of course...

Basically, it's either an I.O.U. for a future player (or draft pick in the NHL), or just a polite way of kicking a guy that you don't want anymore to another team for nothing. It all depends on what the trade deal says, as the details of the considerations are laid out there. In the NHL, usually ends up just being an eventual low draft pick. In the AHL, probably nothing or just some low prospect that might fill a need that you're not entirely sure on now.

This one seems like it was just a part of the NHL trade. So the trade was Brad Winchester and Zach Miskovic for Brian Connelly. But, because Miskovic is on an AHL contract, he can't be included in an NHL trade. So officially, it's Connelly for Winchester and futures for Miskovic, but in reality Miskovic is part of the trade, too.

The trend continues! Another player on an AHL contract is "included" in a NHL trade :

Right wing Mark Mancari has been recalled and traded to the Florida Panthers for left wing Eric Selleck, who has been assigned to the Chicago Wolves. In a related deal, the Wolves have acquired defenseman Doug Janik from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) for future considerations

http://www.chicagowolves.com/news/r...es-acquire-selleck-and-janik-in-pair-of-deals

Also, according to theahl.com, Hamilton has signed Nate McIver to a SPC.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have agreed to terms with free agent forward Yanni Gourde, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced today. Gourde will be on an AHL contract for the remainder of 2013-14 season and a two-way NHL contract for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.

Gourde, 22, has skated in 25 games with the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League this season, posting four goals and 25 points to go along with 26 penalty minutes.

Gourde was snatched by Tampa Bay after his PTO contract with Worcester had expired.

Also, earlier this month, Justin Johnson was released from his AHL contract and signed to a one year (two-way) contract by the Islanders.

It's the AHL trade deadline today. It's highly possible that he has been traded/loaned.

Trade Alert :

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that they have acquired forward Jeremy Langlois from the Springfield Falcons in exchange for defenseman Dallas Jackson.

Any News on the IceCaps making a move? We lost 3 of our best players this week and I'd fully expect to make a deal or a signing for someone with Rat, Albert and O'dell gone

Why are you complaining, Newfy, the Ice Caps are the hottest team right now (9 straight wins and extending your own franchise record).

The Chicago Wolves announced Friday that they have signed forward GERGO NAGY to a standard player contract (SPC) and assigned him to Quad City of the Central Hockey League. The 24-year-old Dunaujvaros, Hungary, native appeared in one game for the Wolves during a tryout contract (PTO) and took three shots in Chicago's 4-0 home victory over Iowa on March 2.

The 6-foot-3, 202-pound NAGY has spent most of this season in Quad City, where he has contributed 17 goals, 29 assists and a +13 plus/minus rating in 53 games this season. His 46 points rank second on the Mallards and he stands third in goals and plus/minus rating during his first season in North America.

Wilkes-Barres have signed Conor Sheary to an ATO for 2013-2014 and an AHL for 2014-2015.

have faith in Cheveldayoff, Newfy, Wolves fans did for years when he was there, and they didn't do much other than seeing Scheifle go down as their 2C

For sure Hutch, I have faith. He did well with Gord and Samson, just expected a little something. I'm sure we will be fine

After signing 4 PTOs with Wilkes-Barres, Barry Goers finally signed a SPC this week.
http://theahl.com/stats/transactions.php?showFull=1&f_season_id=43&f_team_id=316

Garnet Hathaway signed an AHL contract with Abbotsford. The 22-year-old had just completed his 4th year at Brown University. (I'm not sure why Hathaway signed a SPC while players coming out of college are usually signed to ATOs...)
http://theahl.com/stats/transactions.php?showFull=1&f_season_id=43&f_team_id=379

Also, earlier this month, Abbotsford acquired Tim Miller for the San Antonio Rampage.

It's for this season and next. Was a tweet, I don't recall who tweeted it, that said multiple AHL teams were interested in him, so maybe that's why Abbotsford gave him the SPC now.
