There are a couple threads mentioning some prospects for the 2010 nhl entry draft, but there is not an official thread. List your projections for the top 10 picks of the 2010 nhl entry draft. This should get interesting!

No Adam Pettersson? He should make this list in the upper half IMO...

Don't forget

Gabriel Landeskog & Fredric Weigel. Landeskog IMO is easily as good as Adam & Victor. From what 've seen of em they I think the class of 92 'll turn out to be a good Swedish vintage.

Fin I know Im biased but while Shipley has all kinds of potential for the Attack, Hishon as a late 91 had more points than Bobby Ryan in his underage year but isn't getting any press. I think he should be ahead of Shipley at this point.

Charles Inglis - Moose Jaw Exciting player to watch. Tough as nails and is a dynamic skater

Kevin Sundhar - Chilliwack Great set of skills and wheels. Will see lots of play time this year

Conner Redmond - Red Deer Good sized winger who likes to score. Should put up decent numbers in Red Deer

Ryley Miller - Brandon Great skater and hitter on defence. Brandon has been drafting some good defenders of late and Miller is the latest one

nice list, but no way John Merril is the 16th best player for this year. He is top 10 as of right now.

I'm thinking we could add Depape to the list...
I really like Miller's mobility and penchant to take the body, hope he grows a bit, so far so good!

How would you rate this draft compared to the others. I see this year's top 15 (2009) very deep and then slides.

I gotta say after seeing him in camp this year, you've gotta have brad ross on the radar. Good looking two way forward prospect. Can't say anything for sure until after two years but given you've got moffat, howden , sundher in there you've got to have ross in there somewhere.

Just curious.
How GOOD is Quinton Howden? I know he's supposed to be pretty dang good and all, but last season he didn't do GREAT playing the Manitoba AAA league (it was considerably weaker this year than past years) still did good mind you.

Inglis plays for the Saskatoon Blades and yes he is tough (south paw too) great skater, needs to improve away from the puck.

Another player to watch for is Curtis Hamilton for the Blades, a late birthday therefore he is 2010 eligible. Last year as a 16yr devloped a lot of confidence by the end of the year and found great chemistry with his linemates. This year he looks big and strong and so far in pre-season is playing with an edge.

I just saw Duffy play tonight, he had a nice game, 2 goals, he team got steamrolled though. He is a pretty shifty little guy, reminded me a bit of Zach Hamill.

I'm wondering that to... seems like a type of player the Leafs will be targetting, they're not gonna be in position to get one of the top wingers, but they might be able to get him for the top line

Saw Howden tonight and he is big, very fast skater, going to be fun watching him come into Brandon the next 3 years

Ben Duffy now has 10 points in his first 7 games. He is a slick customer, if he gains an inch or two and continues at this pace he should be a top 15 pick in the draft. He is almost identicle to Bryan Little as a hockey player.

Has anyone seen any Sudbury games this year? I'm wondering how much icetime McFarland is getting since he only has 1 assist in four games. I know when Jared Staal was a rookie he played very sparingly and had something like 3 points.

Has anyone seen any Sudbury games this year? I'm wondering how much icetime McFarland is getting since he only has 1 assist in four games. I know when Jared Staal was a rookie he played very sparingly and had something like 3 points.

McFarland looks like he is just clenching his stick too tight and trying to do to much right now. I think once he gets settled in he'll really break-out, but he needs to get on the board to get his confidence up. The kid reminds me so much of Stamkos, they have almost identical skating strides and they are very similar players in terms of their skills and tendencies. But with that being said, I definitely can't see McFarland being as good as Stamkos.

I want everyone to watch out for Gudbranson, I think he will end up surpassing Taylor Hall and be the best prospect from North America for the 2010 draft. I haven't seen any of the European guys, and I've only seen a couple of the guys from the WHL and QMJHL but I really think Gudbranson is a guy who is just absolutely going to skyrocket the charts. Last season I thought he was the #1 prospect for the OHL Priority Selection, ahead of McFarland and after watching him a couple times thus far with Kingston I'm pretty much convinced this guy is the real deal.
